Welcome to our breeding program!
Moon Run Farm has successfully bred numerous horses and ponies for over two decades, emphasizing athleticism, temperament, and an easygoing nature, making each one of our foals an outstanding mount for junior or amateur riders. We currently stand two fabulous Welsh Pony stallions, Blackberry Jammin' and Orchard Hill's Fan Out.
Blackberry Jammin'
2001 black roan registered section B Welsh stallion by Pengwyn. Jammin' is a very special edition to the MRF breeding program, as his grandfather Liseter Mister Star was part of our breeding program in the early 1990's. His sire Pengwyn has become the newest stallion to take pony breeding by storm, and Jammin' is a tribute to this quality line of welsh ponies. Already Jammin's produce have gone on to win ribbons at Devon, Upperville, VPBA futurity, USPGL finals, and the National Pony Hunter Breeders Championship Series. We are very excited to offer Jammin' to the New England area and expect more show ring winners from this fancy young stallion. Special thanks to Margret Redman and Twin Oak Farm for the opportunity to purchase this quality young stallion.

1999 Bay roan medium pony half welsh stallion by Llandfalle's Better by Far. "Gibson" comes from a long line of champions. Many of his half brothers and sisters have won ribbons in the breeding classes at the very prestigious Devon Horse Show. Gibson has been tested at stud with our own mares and each baby comes out fancier than the last! He passes on his dishy head, "look at me" attitude and the chrome ponies need to get noticed in the show ring. Gibson is a perfect cross to both welsh pony and smaller TB mares.
